Ann Rich brings more than 30 years of experience in strategic and facilities planning consultation and in line management within the health care industry.

Prior to organizing her firm, Ms. Rich worked for 12 years as a consultant with TriBrook Group, Inc. involved in all facets of the consulting practice. Her dual competency in both strategic and facility planning is the basis for her philosophy that sound strategic planning is the foundation for rational facility decisions.

Ms. Rich is equally familiar with the issues, cultures, and personalities of major medical centers and rural hospitals, systems and free-standing institutions. Her engagements have encompassed the full range of services from general strategic planning, ambulatory care planning, financial feasibility, business planning, service repositioning, and market research to all aspects of facility planning: assessments, master plans, functional programs and space plans, and Certificate of Need preparation. Her experience has touched all levels of the organization and virtually every department.

Ann Rich began her health care career as a Unit Administrator at Norton/Kosair Childrens Hospitals, Louisville, Kentucky. In this position she performed supervisory, budgetary, and training functions; developed the departmental policy and procedure manual; and served as the liaison between nursing and all departments within the hospital. Following this she was Assistant to the Administrator at the University of Florida Student Health Service. Responsibilities included financial analysis, procedure formulation, and management audits.

Ms. Rich received her Masters of Business Administration from the University of Florida--Gainesville, with areas of concentration in Health and Hospital Administration and in Organizational Management. Her undergraduate degree from St. Louis University is in Psychology.
